ONE-ON-ONE PERSONAL TRAINING

Each client will receive an initial consultation and assessment to discuss their health and fitness goals as well as determine their current fitness level. The fitness assessment includes a postural assessment, a movement analysis, and a strength, endurance and flexibility assessment. The results of these assessments are used to compile appropriate exercises to address any muscular imbalances and to design individualized, safe and effective programs that fit the client’s goals. Training programs zero in on the very specific movement needs and lifestyle goals of the individual.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Because you hate to be lost in the crowd and feel “anonymous” or “like a number” where you work out! We offer Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced 30 minute sessions and cap them at 6 participants, maximum. While these sessions challenge every client, they are small enough for the trainer to accommodate your particular strengths and abilities, check your technique, and still give you the one on one attention you crave.

These sessions focus on full body strength training using a variety of equipment and exercises. By using dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, medicine balls and body weight, you will have a training session that helps build strength while improving balance, posture, flexibility and core strength.

CORRECTIVE EXERCISE SESSIONS

As we repeat our daily activities, we often create muscle imbalances. The regular movement patterns you repeat can cause some muscles to become stronger and others to become weaker over time. Muscle imbalances not only cause long term damage to joints but also the unequal pressure makes it harder to move, causing undue fatigue. Using movement analysis, we can identify what muscles you need to inhibit or make relax and which you need to strengthen. Through a series of exercises to relax and strengthen muscles, we will address your suboptimal movement patterns and create a stronger and more functional body making daily activities and exercise routines easier and preventing injuries in the future.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS CLASS

Experience an innovative fitness program designed specifically for men & women over 40. Move better, get stronger, & enjoy great health with this 30-minute small-group training session. We will focus on full body functional training using a variety of equipment and exercises. By using dumbbells, steps, resistance bands, medicine balls and body weight that will build strength and endurance while improving balance, posture and flexibility.
